Suffolk UK - Positioned to the north-east of Greater london, the rural county of Suffolk is part of the area of The United Kingdom known as East Anglia. Suffolk has an area of 1,466 sq mls and a population of roughly seven hundred and thirty thousand. Suffolk touches the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Essex, Ipswich is the major town, whilst other important towns include Bury Saint Edmunds, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Felixstowe and Lowestoft.
