Suffolk England - Situated to the north-east of London, the rural county of Suffolk is in the area of Great Britain called East Anglia. The county of Suffolk has an area of 1,466 sq miles plus a population of about 730,000. From 1889-1974 the county of Suffolk was separated into two administrative counties, West Suffolk and East Suffolk.
