Suffolk - Found to the north-east of London, the rural county of Suffolk is within the area of The United Kingdom known as East Anglia. The county of Suffolk incorporates a land area of 1,466 square miles plus a population of about seven hundred and thirty thousand. From 1889-1974 Suffolk was split into two administrative counties, East Suffolk and West Suffolk.
